The Dongdu Frog City is a“creation themed shopping park” in Qingpu, Shanghai. Frog City combines the most advanced shopping mall concepts in the world, and integrates five different elements: sunlight, air, water, green plants and architecture. Frog City shopping park is divided into seven themed landscape of CASCADE PLACE, PERFORMANCE LAKE, STREAMGARDEN, HIGHLAND VILLA, SKY OCEAN and WISDOM TREE HILL. In addition, the whole project also plans a central stage with Qingpu Strawberry as the design prototype.“Frog City” and“Strawberry Stage” are IP from the Japanese cartoon of a strawberry frog seeking rainbow strawberry.

The Strawberry Stage organizes a variety of events,programs and interactive performances throughout the year. Its external design has adhered to the idea of Qingpu Strawberry and its internal is constituted by such featured scenes as the spring and waterfall, the water garden, the forest path, and the Tree of Wisdom hill. It is a kingdom of green in the daytime and an ocean of light and dance at night. Various laser projection and interaction facilities would create a brand-new sensual experience for consumers.
